This summer, our students will go on a journey. A journey where they will walk with Jesus through the last 72 hours of His life. They will walk with him step-by-step to the cross; they will meet His friends, share His experiences, and learn what really mattered as He neared the end.

Camp is more than just a fun week away for these students, it’s an experience. It is a week in which your kids can step away from the everyday norm, and through worship and compelling teaching, these students will have an experience with the living God of this universe. They’ll have some fun along the way too. Games and free time will allow them to develop relationships with old and new friends that will last for years to come.

Max Shockley, one of our Middle School volunteers, had this to say about his experience with camp:

“As a cabin leader I think camp is intriguing. It is a place of unlikely connection, a place where a student can break down, it is a time of sanctuary. For me, it is a great reminder of what is possible in life. The spirit of camp is love in action. It’s not about the facilities or activities, it’s about the power of God working in love through people.”

We do our best to keep camp as affordable as possible for our families, but to do that we need your help. We have a goal to reach $15,000 to offset some of the cost. Raising this amount also allows us to provide a discounted rate to new guests. So far we have raised $4,300 so we still have a long way to go. You can help by designating Student Camp on your offerings or via PushPay.

Parents, don’t forget to sign your student up! Early registration is through June 30 and you have an option to put down a $50 deposit. Find out the details about getting them registered here.
