Protecting the Vision

The early church was marked by unity, generosity, great power, and great grace—but that vision was threatened by hidden compromise and closed hands. Through the account of Ananias and Sapphira, we are challenged to examine ownership, integrity, and what it truly means to surrender our time, talent, and treasure to God. This sermon confronts a Western mindset of “mine” and calls believers to live open-handed before the Holy Spirit. If we want the power and grace of the early church, we must embrace full surrender and radical generosity.
